Govinda Opens Up About Making His OTT Debut: 'Success Is Built On Digital Platforms Today, I Would Love To Explore The OTT Space’
Actor Govinda needs no introduction, courtesy, his amazing body of work that includes many blockbusters and record-breaking movies. He ruled the silver screen with his charming personality, terrific dance moves, and of course brilliant acting prowess in the 80s, 90s, and early 2000. Although Govinda is away from movies for the past few years, he has been making his presence felt on the small screen by appearing on reality shows. As every actor is now exploring OTT space, Govinda fans are eagerly waiting for his highly-awaited debut on OTT.

In a recent interview with Zee News digital, the Hero No 1 actor opened up about making his OTT debut and said he would love to explore the digital medium. Govinda was quoted as saying, “Times have definitely changed since we started out, and things have evolved to a point where success is built on OTT platforms today. OTT is a platform for all kinds of artists, and I would really love to explore the OTT space as an actor.” When quizzed about the latest film he has watched, the actor said, “I don’t want to give fame to anyone without charging money (laughs). But, I often go back to rewatching films from the 90s and the 2000s.”


Last week, Govinda appeared with Karisma Kapoor on the popular reality show India’s Got Talent 9 in Holi special episode. The Raja Babu actor and Karisma, who have starred together in 11 movies, reminded us of 90’s magic as they performed together on their hit songs. Govinda also grooved on his iconic songs, including 'UP Wala Thumka'. Notably, recently, the duo collaborated again for a popular fast-food restaurant chain. On the big screen, Govinda was last seen in Rangeela Raja, which was released in 2019.
